Greenbird has a wealth of genset control system design experience and this is utilized to provide advice and assistance to our customers utilizing ComAp equipment. Programming of controllers and the training of customer staff in this aspect of the controller use is another important aspect of our services to our customers.

Control System Design and Supply

Many of our customers ask us to design and supply complete control systems for them and we also utilize our Adelaide and Perth facilities, which include full CAD design capabilities, to design complete systems and control panels including electrical schematics, gas etc.

Commissioning

Greenbird is able to offer a full commissiioing service regardless of where the application is and much of our work is carried out in remote areas. Our staff are fully equipped with all of the latest technology for analysis and monitoring to ensure that commissioning is carried out quickly with minimal problems whilst at the same time ensuring that adequate documentation is automatically generated to provide full commissioning reports, test sheets and data. Very often this service includes operator and staff training, the setting up of local computer systems and communication systems for remote control and monitoring.

Training

With the large number of systems now in use across Australia the training of customers staff in programming, set-up, fault finding and service is an important part of our after market services. Classroom and practical sessions are held for individual customers for both large and small groups whilst other sessions are held with a general audience across a wide range of topics including refresher courses and short sessions for new product and software releases.

Installation and Conversion Services

A significant part of our business is the upgrade of older control systems. This typically occurs where the old system is obsolete and unreliable or where customers wish to avail themselves of the features of a more modern system such as remote control and monitoring.

Greenbird is able to offer a complete upgrade service where we will not only design the new system but carry out all of the on-site work required to bring the system up to date including commissioning and training. In exceptional circumstances and where there are multiple sets providing the only source of power this can be done whilst the station continues to operate.
